Blackvue Power Magic Ultra Battery B-130X is the latest version of the popular external battery designed to power Blackvue brand car cameras. This device charges while driving when the ignition is on and then powers your dash cam when the ignition is off. A full charge of the Power Magic Ultra Battery is achieved in 50 minutes (via a hardwire kit) and in 90 minutes (via a cigarette lighter socket).

In parking mode, this battery can support recording more than 30 hours for 1CH Blackvue camera. B-130X is compatible with the free Blackvue app or with a separate application for Blackvue Powerbanks - Blackvue Battery Manager.

Simple connection

Installation is very convenient and simple: Just plug the battery into the cigarette lighter socket. The charging current reaches a value of 5A and the time required for charging is approximately 90 minutes.

Hardwire kit installation: You can connect the battery directly to your vehicle's fuse box to achieve maximum charging performance. The charging current with this method reaches a value of 9A, and the time required for charging is approximately 50 minutes.

12V and 24V compatibility: Power Magic Ultra Battery B-130X is able to work with vehicle electrical systems that use 12V or 24V voltage. This means that it is suitable for most cars and trucks available on the market.

5V USB (max. 2A): This battery has an additional USB output that allows charging various accessories, such as a smartphone.

Power Magic Ultra Battery B-130X is able to connect via Bluetooth, which enables compatibility with the free Blackvue app (for iOS/Android systems) or a separate application - Blackvue Battery Manager (for iOS/Android systems). When charging, these apps display the percentage of charge, the charging voltage, and the estimated time required to fully charge the battery. If the vehicle ignition is turned off, the application informs about the expected time when the battery will be able to power the car camera, while this time depends on the camera's energy consumption.

Parking mode

Thanks to the Power Magic Ultra Battery B-130X, you can achieve complete independence when recording in your parking mode, without endangering your vehicle's car battery.

BlackVue car cameras automatically switch to "Parking" mode and monitor your parked car. However, recording videos to the microSD memory card will only take place if something unusual happens (motion or impact detected). This feature has two main advantages:

Eliminates the risk of overwriting important files during long parking periods.

Extends the life of the memory card in the long term.

With a fixed installation, the battery reaches up to 30 hours of power after a 50-minute charge, or 90 minutes of charging via a cigarette lighter socket. These times were measured on a camera with a current consumption of 3W and a fixed battery installation. The B-130X battery is compatible with two installation methods:

DIY installation: Using a standard cigarette lighter socket with normal 5A charging.

Fixed installation: Connecting the battery with a fixed cable to the fuse box with fast 9A charging.

Configuration of settings is possible using Bluetooth technology and a smartphone application. The battery is compatible with both 12V and 24V electrical systems. It provides several circuit protections for the safety and longevity of the battery.

The Ultra Power battery charges while driving and simultaneously powers the dashcam. When the engine is turned off, the power supply of the dash cam switches automatically to the Ultra Power battery. The battery life is set to 1500 full charge cycles, then the capacity drops below 80% of the original value.

The high temperature shutdown function turns off the battery when the internal temperature reaches 80°C. Similarly, in low temperatures, the battery shuts down when the internal temperature drops below 0°C. Even when the battery is turned off, it stores energy for more than 1 year.

The USB port (5V) allows simultaneous charging of other devices, such as smartphones, mobile Wi-Fi hotspots, while powering the on-board camera.
