New recording modes

Shoot up to 8K 360° timelapse and slow motion bullet time in 4K resolution at 120 fps.
Pre-recording mode captures the action before it happens. Recording will start 15 to 30 seconds before you press the shutter button. When this option is enabled, the camera continuously records audio and video for the interval you choose, but it is only saved to your SD card when you press the shutter button.
Loop recording records video continuously while simultaneously saving each minute of footage into separate files. This saves space on the memory card and turns the X3 into an on-board car camera.

Improved control and preview

The camera's larger 2.29" touchscreen provides a clear view of your shots as you take them. Four control buttons with vibration feedback switch between shooting modes for quick control.

Ultra-smooth, stabilized recording with FlowState Stabilization

Insta360 X3 ensures your footage is stabilized thanks to the 6-axis gyroscope and FlowState Stabilization technology. Active 360° HDR mode is specially designed for action sports, keeping your video steady in motion while preserving details in highlights and shadows for more vivid footage. Horizon lock keeps the horizontal plane of your video consistent and allows the camera to rotate freely while keeping the sky level.

IPX8 waterproof up to 10m

Insta360 X3 is waterproof to 10 meters straight out of the box. If you need to dive even lower for experiences, grab a waterproof case and look forward to seamless stitching of your 360-degree footage up to a depth of 50 meters.
