Compact DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Camera with 1″ CMOS Sensor and Gimbal

An Experience in Your Pocket

DJI Osmo Pocket 4 is a compact camera designed for creators, vloggers, travelers, and anyone who wants high-quality video always within reach. Thanks to its 1-inch CMOS sensor, it allows you to shoot stunning footage in 4K at 240 frames per second[1] and capture sharp photos even in low light. A 14-stop dynamic range[2] and 10-bit D-Log recording[3] ensure cinematic image depth. The lossless 2× zoom[4] and 3-axis stabilization help you get closer to distant scenery and capture it smoothly and steadily.

Main Advantages of DJI Osmo Pocket 4

  • 1-inch CMOS sensor and 4K/240 fps[1]
  • 14 EV dynamic range[2]
  • 10-bit D-Log[3]
  • 3-axis stabilization and rotating touchscreen
  • 2× lossless zoom[4]
  • 107 GB integrated storage and transfer speeds up to 800 MB/s[5]
  • ActiveTrack 7.0[6] and intelligent focusing
  • OsmoAudio 4-channel output[7]
  • 107 GB internal memory (expandable with a memory card)

Higher Image Quality for Capturing Important Moments

Osmo Pocket 4 combines a compact body with professional-looking image quality. The new 1″ CMOS sensor and f/2.0 aperture create a softly blurred background for shots with natural depth. Thanks to a dynamic range of up to 14 EV[2] and the 10-bit D-Log[3] color profile, it captures rich details and true-to-life colors even in high-contrast scenes, such as by the sea, in the city, or at dusk.

Thanks to the 2× lossless zoom[4], you can get sharp and clear shots even from a greater distance. Using the zoom button, you can quickly switch between 1× and 2× magnification and adapt the composition to the specific situation.

When shooting slow-motion footage, the camera supports 4K/240 fps[1], allowing it to capture motion with exceptional smoothness and sharpness. It is an ideal solution for action moments, dynamic details, or creative video production.

Always Ready for Travel, Vlogging, and Everyday Moments

The compact and portable DJI Osmo Pocket 4 camera is designed so you can always keep it with you. It is suitable for family videos, travel adventures, city shooting, vlogging, and live streaming. Thanks to its durable construction and small dimensions, it is an ideal companion for travel as well as everyday use.

  • Family moments: capture spontaneous smiles, details, and natural moments in motion.
  • Breathtaking landscapes: activate D-Log and gain broader editing possibilities in post-production.
  • Urban scenery: shoot sharp and stable footage of busy streets and panoramic views.
  • Travel: the small body and quick readiness to record are ideal for moving around.
  • Professional creation: 3-axis stabilization and 4K image help create quality vlogs and livestreams.

Smart Capture and Stable Footage Without Limits

Move, shoot, and create without limits thanks to 3-axis stabilization. Various gimbal modes allow for smoother and more fluid camera movement, which is a great advantage when shooting handheld, while walking, or in dynamic scenes.

DJI Osmo Pocket 4 supports ActiveTrack 7.0[6], which allows tracking even distant objects, up to 4× zoom. Modes such as Spotlight Follow and Dynamic Framing make it easier to create impressive one-handed shots and help keep the subject centered in the composition.

Intelligent autofocus ensures that the selected subject remains sharp at all times. The Subject Lock Tracking[8] function automatically focuses on the given subject and tracks it. The Registered Subject Priority[8] function, in turn, can prioritize focus on a preselected subject.

Another practical feature is gesture control[9]. By raising your palm, you can turn ActiveTrack[6] on or off, while the “V” gesture allows you to take a photo or start and stop recording. This makes working with the camera even faster and more intuitive.

Creative Modes for Original Content

DJI Osmo Pocket 4 offers several modes that make it easier to create creative content:

  • Slow Shutter Video: long-exposure video with a motion blur effect.
  • SpinShot: the gimbal rotates 180°, enabling smooth one-handed shots.
  • Motionlapse: set up to four positions for a dynamic timelapse video.
  • Auto Landscape/Portrait: automatic adjustment of both screen orientation and composition.
  • Panorama Photo: wide scenery in a single shot.

Easy Creation of Impressive Portraits

Osmo Pocket 4 offers several features that help achieve an attractive look in portrait shots and selfie videos. You can choose from various Film Tones[10], which give the image a classic and color-rich professional look.

The In-Camera Beautify[10] function allows you to subtly fine-tune skin appearance, brightness, and colors so that selfies and group shots look natural. In the DJI Mimo app[12], you can also use Glamour Effects[11] for further portrait enhancement.

The optional fill light[13] offers three brightness levels and color temperature settings. It provides soft and natural illumination with a beautifying effect in low light and backlit conditions.

Clean and High-Quality Audio for More Demanding Creation

Osmo Pocket 4 supports OsmoAudio 4-channel output[7]. Thanks to direct connection to DJI Mic transmitters, it can capture clean voice while simultaneously recording ambient sounds through the built-in microphones. Video editing software[14] can process these four audio channels directly, which speeds up post-production.

Spatial audio delivers a more immersive listening experience in headphones, and the Audio Zoom function adjusts sound according to zooming in or out, making playback feel more natural and realistic.

Faster Workflow and Practical Features for Creators

Integrated storage with a capacity of 107 GB and transfer speeds of up to 800 MB/s[5] allow you to shoot and transfer files without needing a memory card. This simplifies work in the field as well as everyday use.

DJI Osmo Pocket 4 can be charged to 80% in approximately 18 minutes[15], allowing up to three hours of shooting[16]. When fully charged, the camera can record for up to 240 minutes in 1080p at 24 fps[16]. These values will be appreciated especially by users who want to keep the camera ready for longer outings or all-day shooting.

When powered off, the gimbal automatically locks to make carrying and storage safer. Manual axis locking is also available for quicker handling.

The camera also supports 4K DisplayPort video output and Wi-Fi live streaming in 1080p[17], which helps with streaming and connecting to other devices. Another practical feature is Timecode, thanks to which the deviation is less than 1 frame over 8 hours[18], which significantly helps when synchronizing multiple cameras in post-production.

Accessories That Expand the Camera’s Capabilities

DJI Osmo Pocket 4 is available with a whole range of versatile accessories that make shooting with balanced lighting, vivid colors, and clear sound easier. A fill light, Battery Handle, ND filters, Black Mist filter, and wireless microphones expand creative possibilities and help achieve even more professional results.

Comparison: Osmo Pocket 4 vs. Osmo Pocket 3

Osmo Pocket 4 brings several significant improvements over the Osmo Pocket 3. It retains the 1″ CMOS sensor but adds a higher maximum video specification of 4K/240 fps[1] instead of 4K/120 fps[19], the D-Log[3] color profile, advanced intelligent focusing, 107 GB of integrated storage, support for Wi-Fi 6 and USB 3.1, and faster data transfer. This makes it a more suitable choice for users who want a more modern workflow, better post-production options, and greater creative freedom.
