Reliable performance, unlimited
possibilities

4 TX + 8 RX for effortless collaboration [2]

The DJI Mic 3 receiver can connect to up to four transmitters at once, allowing simultaneous recording from four audio sources. The main receiver can also sync audio with up to seven additional receivers. Whether it’s a group interview or a multi-camera production, you’ll have pristine audio across all devices, streamlining post-production.

Flexible, customizable channel configuration

The receiver lets you choose between Mono and Stereo (two-channel) modes—record each transmitter separately, or merge them into a single track, depending on the scenario and recording style.

mic3-7

Quad-channel output [2], easy editing

In Quadraphonic mode, the DJI Mic 3 receiver—paired with select Sony cameras or computer software—supports independent output of four audio tracks.
This enables precise separation and flexible mixing, giving you more creative freedom in post.

Dual-band reliability, stable transmission

DJI Mic 3 supports automatic frequency switching between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz [6] with a range of up to 400 meters [7]. With strong anti-interference, it delivers stable audio transmission even amid heavy wireless congestion, such as at trade shows.

Lossless transmission, pristine sound

With Lossless Audio [8] enabled, the transmitter sends uncompressed 48 kHz/24-bit audio directly to the receiver, ensuring every take is captured with stunning fidelity and quality.

mic3-5

Onboard 32-bit float recording with dual track

Onboard recording

Never worry about losing a take—onboard recording protects your audio from wireless interference or device failures. With dual onboard recording, DJI Mic 3 simultaneously saves the original track and an algorithm-enhanced version [9], streamlining your workflow and keeping creativity flowing.

32-bit float internal recording

Thanks to 32-bit float internal recording, DJI Mic 3 offers a wide dynamic range that not only ensures high recording quality but also better adapts to complex acoustic settings. It captures every nuance—from a soft whisper to high decibels—providing reliability in unpredictable noisy environments and greater flexibility in post.

mic3-6

Integrated timecode for precise sync

DJI Mic 3 supports highly accurate timecode [10]. The transmitter records it during onboard capture, while the receiver supports both timecode input and output. With a drift of less than one frame over 24 hours [11], you can instantly align multi-camera footage in post, speeding up and simplifying edits.

Seamless file export

After shooting, simply use the charging case and a USB-C cable to connect both transmitters to a computer or smartphone [12]. Editing and sharing are quick and easy, with all onboard files transferred at once. You can also connect the transmitter to the DJI Mimo app to download the audio files—flexible export options for your needs.

All-day endurance, worry-free creation

Battery life up to 28 hours [13]

On a full charge, the transmitter lasts up to 8 hours [14] and the receiver up to 10 hours [14]. A fully charged case allows about 2.4 full recharges, bringing total runtime up to 28 hours of continuous use [13].

mic3-3

Quick top-up in just 5 minutes

Only 5 minutes of charging enables up to 2 hours of use [15] for both transmitter and receiver. With 3C fast charging support, a full charge takes approximately 50 minutes [16].

Use while charging

The transmitter automatically enters sleep when it detects no receiver signal. Once the signal returns, it wakes and reconnects. This lets you wear the transmitter for long periods without constantly turning it on and off.

On the receiver display or in DJI Mimo you can set the transmitter and receiver to power off after a period of inactivity. If enabled on both, they will shut down automatically if not connected for more than 15 minutes, preventing battery drain.

When Sync Power is enabled on the receiver or in DJI Mimo, the receiver powers on with the camera and powers off with it when connected via 3.5 mm audio cable or hot shoe.

If the receiver is cabled to your smartphone, it’s powered directly from the phone. Connect external power to the receiver’s USB-C port to charge both receiver and phone simultaneously so you can keep recording uninterrupted [18].

Instant connection, creative freedom

Direct DJI OsmoAudio™ connection

Compatible with many devices

Direct phone connection via Bluetooth [20]

The transmitter supports direct connection to Osmo 360, Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4, or Osmo Pocket 3 without a receiver [19]. The DJI OsmoAudio™ connection ecosystem delivers premium sound, simplifies your kit and workflow, and streamlines creation.

The receiver’s multiple ports empower your creativity: a locking 3.5 mm TRS output for rock-solid connections, a 3.5 mm TRRS port for real-time monitoring, and a USB-C port for simultaneous charging and recording—ideal for phones, tablets, and computers. Adapters make it easy to hook up different devices so you can work efficiently without limits.

No receiver required—the transmitter connects directly to your smartphone via Bluetooth, so you can easily use it with your favorite third-party recording or live-streaming apps [21].
Use the DJI Mimo app to configure settings and update firmware in one place for faster, simpler setup and control.
